PAYMENT

All payments are in advance.  We charge only for the items that are shipped, plus shipping and handling.  We will not charge until your order is in the shipping process.

Checkout Process

Our checkout process allows you to use—

Using PayPal, you can enter your payment info once and use it on multiple sites.  You can choose between purchasing as an anonymous user or setting up a site-specific account.

2.       Our regular shopping cart checkout

Pay with credit card  (MasterCard , Visa, Discover or American Express)

Pay with PayPal

If you choose this option, please be sure to click on the link to come back to our site after the PayPal payment, so that the sale can be finalized.



ORDER PROCESSING

On more than 90% of your orders, we process your shipment the same day or the next day if it’s in stock (and we stock 13,000 items). 

Occasionally, if an item is out of stock, we re-order it for you and ship the same day we receive it, which can add up to 7-10 days to shipping time.  If you have ordered more than one item and only part of your shipment is on backorder, we may partial ship to you.

Prior to back ordering an item or partial shipping, Allemon’s will contact you for instructions.  If we must cancel your order for some reason, we will notify you of the cancellation.

SHIPPING

Shipping Time

We ship every day of the business week, except for holidays.  The cutoff time on a ship day is 1 pm EST, otherwise the item will be shipped the following day.  All orders received over the weekend are shipped on the following Monday or the next non-holiday day.  You will receive a shipping confirmation the day the product is shipped.  You may check on the status of your order at any time.



Shipping Fees

We do not ship internationally at this time.  We do ship to the continental U.S., Alaska and Hawaii.

The default carrier for destinations within the United States is Federal Express. Occasionally we may, at our option use a different carrier if it means we can get your product to you quicker or because in seasonal fluctuations in delivery times during high volume periods (especially Chrsitmas).

Shipping fees calculated on our web site are actual list prices for the weight of the item(s) plus 1.5 lb for packaging from FedEx's website. All weights will be rounded up to the next full pound, which reflects the policies of the shipping companies we use.

We’ll ship back-ordered items based on the original requested ship method and charge a separate shipping fee. We’ll contact you before shipping or cancelling your backorder.



Your Address

Please provide a non-PO Box address to us, as UPS and FedEx won’t ship to a PO Box.



Tracking Your Package

If you have a tracking or delivery confirmation number, you can track your package by going to the carrier’s web page for tracking and entering the tracking number.  The shipping method and carrier will be provided in your shipment confirmation e-mail.

Packaging

As our old motto goes, “we sell the earth.” We also try to save the earth and keep costs low by using recycled packaging/boxes when shipping.  The product will arrive safely, but the box may look used.



Onsite Pickup

Instead of having your item shipped, you may pick it up in our store.  Please call our store to verify we have it in stock before stopping by at  313-882-9085.  Please ask for the Internet Shipping Department.



Plants and Nursery Stock

We do not ship live plants and nursery stock at this time out of concern for their safe arrival. You may pick them up at our store location however, or have them delivered , if you reside within our delivery area. RETURNS

Non-damaged returns

We accept non-damaged returns up to 14 days from ship date.  Return shipping is the buyer’s responsibility.

The refund for the full sales price will be issued in the same form of payment originally used for purchase within 7-14 days of receipt.  We will reimburse for shipping only if the reason for the return was due to an error on Allemon’s part.

Shipping-damaged or product defective claims

We handle most shipping-damage or product-defective claims ourselves.

Our site does not store or capture in any way your credit card information.* It is only transmitted to the credit card companies in a highly secure electronic environment (see Security, below).

Allemon’s Landscape Center does NOT share your information with other direct marketing companies. We will send you emails about news and specials only if you allow this by checking “yes” to emails when you register on our site.



Use of Your Contact Information

We use the contact information you provide to respond to your requests, customize future shopping, improve our store service and online presence, and communicate with you.

We do not make email addresses available to other organizations for commercial purposes. 

Based on your purchase information, you will be subscribed to Allemon’s marketing emails unless you request not to receive them at the time you buy. 

If you do request them, then change your mind, you can unsubscribe by using the Contact Information.

We will only use your telephone number to call you with regard to orders you have placed online.



Use of Your Mailing Address

We of course use your mailing address for shipping.

But you may receive periodic mailings from us with information on new products that we think you might want to know about.

We also sometimes provide your name/address to other direct marketing companies who may have offers that would interest you.

Our SSL certificate from GoDaddy.com ensures that we are who we say we are as well as protecting data transmitted online from theft or tampering. 



Shopping Cart and Checkout Software

Our shopping cart software is officially certified to be compliant with VISA Payment Application Best Practices (PABP Certified).  Few other shopping carts have this high level of security.

Our regular checkout process utilizes Authoriz.net as the gateway. Authorize.net implements industry best practices for security and has a sterling reputation among people in the ecommerce marketplace.
